There is a clear pro-independence majority in Scotland’s Parliament, elected democratically by the people of Scotland. Unionist parties should respect that mandate and stop blocking Scotland’s right to choose our own future.

@laura_pollock_ On multiple occasions the SNP government has refused to be bound by votes in the Scottish Parliament. Hard, surely, for them to demand the UK government be bound by one, no?

The Scottish Parliament has officially called for the UK Government to devolve the powers which would allow it to hold a second independence referendum UK Gov has said no. How long can that refusal last? 🤔

That's not a mandate when you add constituency and lost MSPs.

@Bobmcphail1872 And a free path to huge CL thrown away. Agree re the players. Danny Röhl. Am now in the odd position of simultaneously thinking it would be silly to replace him, but not being that bothered if we do.

2nd half a total capitulation, a shameful level of performance given what was at stake. For the umpteenth time this season we see the momentum swing against us and there's insufficient reaction on the park or from the dugout to counter and win. We don't have the players but Röhl isn't learning. Apart from the garbage football, the starkest issue for me is the lack of desire when it matters most - that is unacceptable. Another season wasted.

@stevemartincfp @ibroxrocks I’d love to, but taking 45 mins to suss your opponent out then trying to win the second half by a spread of two is not a repeatable trick. Just never had the sense that these guys are closers.

@ibroxrocks I agree. How the season finishes will substantially frame how he will be remembered. And he deserves to be remembered well.

I think it’s the right decision. Tav has been a tremendous servant but time waits for no man. Let’s hope he finishes by lifting that title.

@Bobmcphail1872 @WATP_NS @rharv89 I agree with this. “The game last 90 minutes, not 50” is so obvious that it shouldn’t even need coached, but apparently it does. I think he does need to realise that we don’t have the players to “manage” a lead for a third of a game and adapt the style, but he’s done a lot right.

@WATP_NS @rharv89 Yeah and that stuff you're talking about generally needs a culture-build and time - not a pep talk or two. It's got better but it's definitely not where it needs to be yet. It doesn't need reset to square one is where we differ.
