Wholly with Robert here. I started my YouTube career on the side of AI safety. That's the entire reason I got into this space. But I left that space a few years ago because they're all batshit nuts. They don't care about science, evidence, or civics. They only care about narrative control, dominance, and getting their way, at any cost. EA people have tried to recruit me several times, and they often hide their EA associations behind shell companies. They are manipulative and predatory.
