We became able to move to Isle of Wight, (my 20 year dream) found a house to rent, promised the agent on Friday evening that by Monday morning we’d send them evidence of £2500 more than we had. I’d gone BR 4 years earlier so there was no credit to fall back on. On Saturday, I created an offer to work with me for 6 months, sent it out to my email list and told them why I was doing the offer. I made £3.5k but the gift is that 2 or 3 people bought it for £500 just to help us get the house. They told me I didn’t have to deliver the work I offered. They just wanted me to reach the goal, because my free emails had helped them. Don’t know if the offer disqualifies it but if nothing else, one person might enjoy the story and be inspired. ❤️

@branwenjeffreys Have considered a lot after 13 yrs. MATs are dumbing down the profession. Trying to standardise everything down to marking and lesson planning - all in the name of driving out expensive staff and replacing with trainees who won't challenge. Only concern is OFSTED - not children
