The Giants gave up four runs in the eighth on Sunday. This time it's four runs in the seventh. They were up 4-0 early but now trail 6-4.

Tony Vitello sent Adrian Houser out for the seventh inning. Sticking with his starter didn't work out. Houser allowed back-to-back singles to lead off the inning, and it set the table for a four-run frame for the Phillies. Giants trail, 6-4.

Right-handed hitters are 5-9 (1 2B, 2 HR) against Ryan Borucki this year. There is just no functionality for this type of reliever in any bullpen in 2026.

@ButcherBoy415 The Giants really thought they could fill out this bullpen with non roster invitees and a bunch of middle relievers pitching high leverage innings and they are so wrong thus far. Posey of all people should know a strong bullpen was the key to his 3 🏆🏆🏆!!!

This bullpen is not good right now. Falling behind to hitters then giving up crucial hits. That being said, can someone make a play on defense ? Bader/Blooper he misread & Devers just has minimal range at 1B at best - 2x tougher grounders but he can barely move left or right
