The Daily Wire peaked five years ago. For like two years, I listened to Matt Walsh every day. Ben Shapiro 3-4 times a week. Andrew Klavan on the weekends. Michael knowles when the others were on vacation. I used to set aside time to watch the backstage events. They promised harder hitting journalism and investigations… not just breaking down NYPost stories ‘journalism.’ Instead they started making movies, cartoons, selling cigars, razors, and chocolate. Once they switched from news and mainstreaming conservative views to “Hey, buy stuff from us,” I knew it was over. I stopped listening, but kept my subscription alive out of loyalty or whatever— kinda always hoping they’d course correct. Their producers hating on Mormons is just the icing on the cake for me. The Daily Wire played an integral role in a weird time for me as I developed my political views. So I’m honestly sad this is where they are now, but it’s not surprising.

@THEREAL_DV Solution is to get rid of the limit on pitcher roster spots. Simple.

I’d love to know the solution from those complaining about the “Ohtani Rule” all of a sudden. Are the Dodgers supposed to taxi a 13th pitcher on the 6 days Ohtani isn’t pitching and deactivate that guy when he starts? These complaints never occurred when he was languishing in Anaheim.

@CJNitkowski Was thinking about this the other day when it comes to a guy like Dubon who can play everywhere. Braves could afford to carry another pitcher because of him. But no we only make rules like that for the dodgers.

With Fuentes up and the others pushed back the Braves are currently using a 6-man rotation. Does that mean they get an extra roster spot for a reliever so they can have full 8-man bullpen tonight? No? Only the Dodgers get to do that? Cool.

@CregStephenson @b_outliers Matters way less with the ghost runner rule. Back in the day (you know like 7 years ago) you’d worry about a game going 18 innings or something crazy then you’d have pitchers hitting and a catcher injury would be very messy.

@NYeoman Watching those videos the biggest thing I noticed is he would say something then sit in silence for up to a minute. I hope it’s not this but I wonder if he got hooked on pain killers after his injuries.

Incredibly sad to see what has happened to Jaden Ivey Being an unbelievable athlete and having your career derailed by injuries at 24 is challenging enough, but mix in hyperreligiosity and clear mental illness and you get this kind of toxic spiraling Hope he gets REAL help
