That doesnt matter. He has a kid on the way. Has massive medical bills. Etc. He streams not as a past time, but as a job. Its his way of life. Professional athletes have "generational contracts" as well, yet they keep playing. Some well into their 40s. I dont even watch the guy anymore and I'll still defend this. He's going to continue to play games that drive his revenue and his brand. As a content consultant, I would recommend this. He could also create a second channel if he wanted for "fun" games. Many streamers do this, so as to not effect their revenue and business relationships. But he might not feel he needs/wants to. And would rather end stream early to spend time with his family. But hey, its a good thing there are literally A MILLION OTHER STREAMERS you can watch instead. Maybe one of them will play and review your favorite games.

You realize streaming is a business right? Views are how these guy's make money. If they play a game and the views drop, they arent going to keep playing that game. Its a job. Its not a hobby for most of these creators. And before you say it.... yes, some of them are very well off, but streaming has a shelf life. They need to make as much money as they can, while they can because it can be over in an instant.
