Yeah, that outcome is wild. I think the results would differ in a real scenario, as people would (hopefully) give it more thoughtful consideration when it’s a matter of actual life and death. Red is the only reasonable choice, as it’s essentially opting out of a needless, serious gamble on your life. The choice can be made really simple for everyone with a bit of signage at the buttons; Red = Choose if you want to live. Blue = Choose if you want to die, because you likely will if you’re stupid enough to push this.

It is actually disturbing how dumb the average person is Red gives you a 100% chance of living, you literally get nothing beneficial out of choosing blue

People who vote blue based on morality in this poll are historically ignorant, completely delusional when it comes to the human psyche, and live in a fantasy world where their ideological worldview overshadows base reality. So... Pay attention to the blue button pushers. Any opinion on geopolitics, culture, and history from blue button pushers should be discarded like trash. The reality, based on history and basic geopolitics, the vast majority of the world will press the red button because humans overwhelmingly have ingroup bias, and will coordinate to make sure everyone in their group presses red. The only way blue wins is with massive global propoganda coordination, and even then, it is a slim chance of success. The only group with massive outgroup bias is middle to upper-class white leftist-liberal women, and white leftist men to a lesser degree... probably the only group with a high chance at pressing blue, and simultaneously nail themselves on a cross and rant about how virtuous they are. Everyone else, conservatives, moderates, libertarians, ancaps, the 3rd world, criminals, psychopaths, sociopaths, etc... all will be pressing red, dooming the blue to a dire fate.
