@pc74ls04 My guess is that this was a standard 18 sector disk, but something like a magnetic tape strip was laid on one side. I'm pretty sure the no-flux dark sides correspond physically to each other.

I'm playing with #greaseweazle and a bunch of random floppies at flux level. This is a MF/2HD (1.44 MB). All other disks in the box are in DOS format and show up as expected. This one has handwritten label "Install 1 HD". Not sure what's going on here! @bolex70 maybe? :)

@_h0x0d_ The main reason I bough this was to scan those separators in that CD-ROM booklet you sent me. I didn't have a scanner that could scan A3 documents. archive.org/details/micros…

@RetroTechChris I own two of these great systems. My only complaint is that my OCD brain can't accept that the CD-ROM drives can't be mounted flush to the front of the case. It drives me crazy. 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔

I picked up this beautiful Sharp ELSI-160 calculator today. It has fluorescent tubes for the display, which gives it that cursive look.
