@CalTwomey There are lots of clubs not happy about losing players who have contracts but it’s ok for the club to break a player’s 4 year contract? Doesn’t make sense.

James Hird the last 24 hours across two AFL speaking functions has been adamant he has no desire at all to coach in the AFL again and is not looking for an official role at Essendon - though fully supports Welsh and the club. Hopes Merrett can stay
