Thistle losing to this rank rotten St Mirren side says a lot about the championship. Been there for the taking all night and they've pissed it up again.

@DominicWaghorn It was undeniably a tragedy, but the media coverage is strikingly disproportionate compared to that of the tens of thousands killed by the regime. One can’t help but wonder whether this outlet serves as a mouthpiece for that same regime

We have been there multiple times this week. It is categorically NOT on a missile base and everyone we’ve asked says no military activity nearby. It is not a complex question to answer. Was the US deliberately responsible for this appalling tragedy? All the evidence says yes
Yalda Hakim@SkyYaldaHakim

"I do not trust that answer." Admiral Brad Cooper says the investigation into an alleged U.S. airstrike on an Iranian school is "complex" and that the school is "located on an active IRGC cruise missile base". The strike killed more than 150 people - including 120 children - in Minab on the first day of the war. #IranWar #Minabschoolbombing

If cups don't come any bigger than the Scottish Cup, then Play Offs don't come any bigger than the Premiership version. The first leg is tonight and all you lucky bastards with no skin in the game* get to watch the drama unfold from the comfort of your living rooms or down the boozer. Here's the tale of tonight's tape......... Telly & KO This one is a 20:00 kick off at Firhill, and it's live on SKY Sports. Tickets There are only a few hundred tickets left for this evening but with the away end selling out in under an hour at the weekend the Jags are restricting home end sales to punters with a previous purchase history. The same is true of the 2nd leg in Paisley, with the Jags end selling out in a few minutes. Tickets for that one go on general sale at 10am today for Saints fans with a purchase history. Tickets for both games are an excellent price of just £18/£12. Home & Away The Jags went through their entire regular season league campaign without being beaten on home turf, registering 12 wins and 6 draws in their 18 Championship games in Maryhill. Unsurprisingly that was the best home record in the division and they also only conceded 12 goals in front of their own fans. Saints were ranked 10th in the Premiership on away form, winning 3, drawing 4 and losing 12 of their road games during the regular season. Somewhat surprisingly though they scored 63% of their league goals away from home during the regular season, and of the bottom six in the Premiership only Aberdeen conceded fewer goals away from home. Previous Meetings The two sides met in Paisley in the Scottish Cup Quarter Finals back in March with Saints edging the Jags out 2-1 thanks to a controversial penalty from Dan Nlundulu and a Jake Young strike. They've only met on cup duty over the last 11 years with both clubs having been in different divisions since season 2014/2015. The last time they met at Firhill was in the 2017/2018 League Cup which Thistle won 5-0. Ironically Saints were to go on to win the Championship that season whilst Thistle were relegated in the Premiership Play Off Final. Referee The referee this evening is Ryan Lee, who has shown 121 yellows and 5 reds in 33 outings this season, an average of just over 4 cards per game. VAR is in operation across both legs of the final. Betting The bookies are understandably struggling to separate the two sides tonight with both going in odds against. The Jags are a 7/4 shot whilst Saints are a fraction smaller at 12/7 with the draw priced at 2/1. Prediction I will absolutely not be making any prediction, don't be silly. Should be a tremendous atmosphere tonight, really looking forward to it. I'd wish both teams good luck but I'd be lying. COYS!!! * Totally appreciate that Aberdeen and Motherwell fans anyway seem absolutely fucking desperate to see St.Mirren go down

@GaelicRoadSign @ramanbhardwajTV This is why Scotland have a goalkeeper issue. Too many keepers happy to sit on their arse. What is it, 10 first team appearances for Kelly in two years?
