Thank you Eskom Head Office for intervening in this matter. The turnaround time for the issue was 5 days compared to the 1 and half months the last time. However you need to do more to hold the Mqanduli depot to account. They are not responsive even when you go there in person.

@Eskom_SA @Kgosientsho_R our electricity supply failed on Sunday night and I raised a request for service Monday morning. We have not received any technicians to sort out the problem. The previous time it took more than a month to restore supply. This is unacceptable @mteton

On day 5 the issue has finally been resolved. I must say I am so disappointed 😢

Today is day 4 without electricity ⚡️ and the escalation is not working either. What are we supposed to do with our groceries and energy needs with no electricity for 4 days.

The economy is showing some glimmer of optimism, but the president finds it appropriate to destabilise the government. We have just come out of a budget impasse which destroyed confidence in our currency. We have a useless president that doesn’t care about growing the economy.

Cyril Ramaphosa and his ANC cronies are fleecing the government by giving corrupt tenders to their friends and relatives. He behaves as if they received 51%. He found a spine to fire a coalition minister when he has never fired anyone for wrong doing.

South Africa has tiny parties problem, the DA is the only party that is rattling the corrupt and incompetent ANC. These tiny parties are strengthening the ANC’s grip on power. They never have any issues with the ANC. Parliament must implement threshold of 2% immediately.
