Insomniac makes it clear the symbiote lands on earth already corrupted and evil, an apostle on a mission. But you’d think having been exposed to human experience, there should be some emotional pattern. It’s just there to be a generic evil blob.

I would’ve preferred if it was an internal battle like in ASM #258. The symbiote tries to go back to him, but we don’t see it feel rejected or abandoned from separating. Just a whole lotta nothing thereafter.
