📚BOOK REVIEW⭐️ The Last Gasp of Midnight 🗡️ “Goodness, this short story packs such a punch, straight into the heart. We have two men fighting, the last two standing in battle between vastly different people. Both already quite injured and battle-weary. Determined to take each other out, no matter the injuries sustained while doing so. Except, as they force their tired and broken bodies to strike and parry and pivot and block, they banter. They trash talk, they argue, they relate, they reveal, they open up. I had several ideas of where I thought this story was going to go. I was so wrong. I picked up on the clues and still didn’t guess where it was going. Loved every moment of strife and heartbreak provided in this story.”
