There’s something to be said about understanding the psychology of X when it comes to booking UGC deals. It’s not just about copy and pasting videos from Instagram and TikTok. It’s about showing up in UGC opportunity threads… even when you may not be THE best fit. It’s about interacting not just with creators, but founders, marketers, creative strategists, business owners, VAs, editors, agencies, everyone! Think of every interaction as a seed that you get to drop. Share who you are. Let people peek inside your head and your world. Be real. Be vulnerable. Communicate. Collaborate. Support people publicly AND privately. Because the truth is you never really know which (seed) conversation, reply, or random interaction becomes the thing that leads to the next opportunity. The creators winning on here aren’t always the best creators (I mean what does that even mean anyway). Sometimes they are the creators who just try to do things a little differently than the rest.
