@BoomRadioUK Having cerebral palsy, I can't put albums on the turntable, so with permission from Simon Toulson-Clarke (lead singer of Red box), I paid a recording studio to copy it to CD, with the sound of the needle dropping. It is amazing, safely on a hard drive, and in a cloud! Sarah 2/2

So sorry to hear of the death of Judith Chalmers. She was 90. From her early BBC radio broadcasts to Come Dancing, Wish You Were Here and so much more - she'll be fondly remembered.

We're so sad to hear of the death of Dennis Locorriere - the legendary voice at the heart of Dr Hook. He was a remarkable performer and we shall miss him. Dennis was born in New Jersey and made his home here in the UK for the last 24 years.

Congratulations to our Roger @TwiggyDay who made his radio debut 60 years ago today on board 'Swinging' Radio England.

This is one of the earliest pictures I have of my brother Alan and me. Even back then, you can see that he had his arm around me, watching over me. That’s who he was. My protector. My guide. The one who quietly carried so much responsibility so the rest of us could shine. Alan was our leader in every sense of the word. His tireless work helped build everything we became. I will always be grateful for the sacrifices he made and the love he showed—not just to me, but to every member of our family. I owe him more than I can ever fully express. I love you, Alan. Thank you for always being there for me. Till we meet again, Brother Donny
