@bootyfuldancer7 The issue is unfortunately discussed as if having compassion for the falsely accused somehow affects people who are victims of the type of crime their false accuser alleged that they had committed, thus pitting the falsely accused against all victims of that crime.

Stop approaching the topic of false accusations like it's a matter of "crime victims vs the falsely accused." The falsely accused are crime victims. They are victims of defamation, harassment, discrimination, wrongful investigation, arrest, & possibly imprisonment, often battery and robbery by agents of the state, many subjected to psychological torture, and some become victims of homicide as a result of the lies to which they've been subjected. Their experiences should not be minimized. There is no percentage of allegations small enough for these occurrences to be acceptable casualties. We are essentially talking about a form of human sacrifice here. There is no negligible amount of doing this to anybody. The falsely accused are crime victims, and they deserve your compassion.

@Joanna__Hardy My partner is locked up 24 hours a day at HMP Woodhill, mistreated by staff and I have been bullied when I complained and was threatened to be cut off from my partner by safer custody of all people and reported to security. They don't like these things getting out

@jeremyindika I feel the same, I'm fighting for after someone becomes an offender and are harassed and bullied and false allegations being made. Because I have questioned HMP Woodhill over the treatment of my partner they have threatened to cut us off and the prison have ceased communication

Last week was the worst week I’ve had since doing this work. I struggled to open my computer in the morning in fear of what people had said about me after the two podcasts I released. I spent 15-years as an engineer, designing aircraft and supercars, being tasked with improving them. Problem solving and investigating every possible solution is deeply ingrained in me, it’s how my brain works. But I feel this is causing me trouble. I thought many times about not releasing the episodes and just keeping quiet, but I found that too difficult. Prison sentences and educating children to tell us if something is happening to them are both reactive techniques that require the crime to have already happened. So why is it, when I investigate possible solutions that can help the crime from never happening in the first place, people hate me? Is it because it deals with the person before they become an offender and people don’t like that? The criticism, the nasty comments really hurt me. Makes me feel sad, fragile, misunderstood and like I want to give up this work. But I cannot do that, because 8-year old Jeremy and all the other children needed adults around them to put their anger to the side and think about this logically to save them. But that wasn’t done, and that was 30-years ago, and I believe we’re still in the stone ages with the conversation today and I want to change that.

@prisonadvice Not in my opinion, they work with prison staff and you get no answer that's impartial or any answer at all. Andrew Blackmore in safer custody in Woodhill Hill has threatened to stop contact with my partner and me because I have complained. Staff Integrity hotline 0800 917 6877
