They can’t bomb is once we are on the island. They can’t be precision enough and would damage their infrastructure. 80-90 percent of their oil comes through the island. So they could potentially lose 80-90% of their oil money for 3-5 years if they bombed the island after we took it.

@Aelthemplaer Can someone tell me why they wouldn’t just bomb the island after they take it over?

@JC_ParetsX That is true and there is no price memory. But they are not invisible. Every algo and human that charts sees them and uses them. So they become impactful do to the action taken because of them.

@Jake__Wujastyk @anthonynoto I would feel better if it wasn’t for Steve Eisman agreeing with them and potentially piling on. I just sold out today. I was up and made a little on it but there are other less risky stocks out there for me right now.

$SOFI #SOFI I'd be relatively shocked if @anthonynoto isn't on CNBC within the next day giving his side of things after Muddy Waters came on this morning with some pretty bold claims. Upside target: $18.75 up to $19.30.

Joe Kent says that an operation to seize Kharg Island by President Trump would be a “disaster”: “It would essentially be giving Iran a bunch of hostages on an island that they could barrage with drones and missiles.” Follow: @AFpost

I am hoping it ends soon. I am not stating opinions or support. Just strategy. Time will tell if it is a good strategy or a bad one. But the fact that Iran has been firing missiles at all of its neighbors only strengthens the US argument that they can never have a Nuclear Weapon.

@GaryHaubold @WarMonitor3 If you control 90% of Irans oil money you control the SOH. They can’t shut it down or you can not allow any funds to go to them. Just like Venezuela

@WarMonitor3 It's worth noting that Kharg Island doesn't control the Strait of Hormuz - they're 300 miles apart.

They are going to drop in the 82nd airborne on the island and take the airport. Then land with the Marines to hold it. The US is going to take Kharg island. Then they are going to sell the oil and give 50% of the money to the Iranians from each shipment. Just like he is doing with Venezuela. They won’t get all the money. But because it won’t be sanctioned anymore it will fetch a higher price. This gives control of the money flow to the US but also puts Iran in a tough spot. Get 50% of the oil money or If they bomb Kharg island to remove the US they damage the infrastructure and get no oil money for 3-5 years by damaging their oil infrastructure. I don’t know if it will work. But that is what Trump is going to try. He literally has showed the exact playbook with Venezuelan oil.

“Kharg Island is a NINE out of ten for Iran.” Gabriel Noronha says it’s the regime’s financial lifeline. “That’s $200 million a day — funding the IRGC, terror operations, missiles, and drones. Without it, the regime could fall apart in weeks.”

@ThomasF65726477 @emerantura When you chase out a guy that wanted to stay…they should have expected he would try to burn it down worse than he did. Harlan sending that letter just makes him look like a clown…with bad attorneys

@bopalmer30 @emerantura I have. I didn't advise them on the contract. Had I, I would have had stronger terms in the contract to ensure enforcement, particularly where they have the transition payment. My thought is they thought the guy wouldn't try to burn down the place that he allegedly revered.

Ever heard of a non-solicitation agreement? Since you seem to know legal jargon maybe you can educate your fellow Ute fans on the lack of one in the agreement and how absurd it is of Harlan to complain and act as if his “smooth transition” language meant no poaching of coaches….term of art

Whoever is loading the ships can load the ships they want to. So you are just wrong. If US military held Kharg island they could fill only US ships if they wanted. No one is going to pay Iran for oil that can’t go on a ship and get to them. If Iran was held hostage like this and got 50% of the money (like Venezuela) then they would want to attack or blow up Kharg island or they wouldn’t get 50% anymore they would get zero for years until it was rebuilt. Delcy Rodriquez agreed to work with the US because of the gun to her head. Kharg Island control would be the gun to the head of the Iranian government

@bopalmer30 @IngrahamAngle No dude. They only control the money in Venezuela because the Venezuelan VP has agreed to go along with it. Kharg is just where the ships get loaded that doesn’t give you the money. Besides, as long as Iran controls the Strait only ships that Iran approves get out of the gulf.

That agreement does not say he will not poach coaches or players. It would be very easy to add a non-solicitation agreement if Kyle and AD would have agreed that he wasn’t going to take any coaches. Harlan knew he wanted to coach someplace else and knew he was taking coaches when the agreement was signed. Smooth transition has nothing to do with poaching coaches and players it has to do with sharing information, passwords and systems with the new staff.

At the end, all this shows is that there was no "good guy" here. It was naive of Utah to assume Kyle would just slide away gracefully. It was a dick move by Kyle to poach coaches when the agreement stated to help with the transition. The real loser here is us tbh.

Not just BYU fans. The disrespect to Whitt by AD is shocking. The fans being mad at Whitt instead of AD is even more surprising. Replacing a coach like Whitt isn’t easy. A great Coach in waiting hand picked by the Head Coach is no sure thing and in fact rarely pans out…. Google Jimmy Lake for example 1A. I think you guys have lost your minds
