It’s totally okay if your mental illness forms part of your identity. Something that plays such a significant part in your life is inevitably going to have a huge impact. I really dislike people saying “you shouldn’t be defined by it” when it’s defined so much of my life.

Broke up with my therapist today and why did it have me in tears like I was being abandoned and tossed out like I was no good anymore.

@ddlovato I’ve been California sober for a while now babe. Don’t listen to the critics, listen to your soul. 🌈

Feeling overwhelmed and suicidal is just part of BPD emotions and I wish more people understood that. I don’t really want to die but that itch is there and hard to scratch. Probably why most of us just end up dead.

What happens when the prettiness goes away? I’ll be left to nothing except the thoughts in my head.

Raise your hand if you think Britney Spears has(had) BPD - 🙋🏽‍♀️ No sense of self ✔️ Thinks someone else will save her ✔️ Fear of abandonment ✔️ Can’t believe she survived all that she went through back when we just thought she was being “crazy”

Anyone else feel that alcohol completely amplified their BPD symptoms? For me personally I feel like I was a completely different version of myself. Now sober I can’t even connect the two.

Lately I have been feeling so disconnected from the person I was before the pandemic. I look at old pictures and don’t even remember what life was like back then. Anyone else?

I found out on TikTok that my 13 year old niece attempted to kill herself. That’s how my family communicates.

@LivinOnBorder_ I don’t usually. It’s too complicated. Sometimes I say that I just feel emotions too much.

Anyone else reading their old journals and taking notes for a book they are hoping to someday write? Or in hopes that if they don’t write the book, they’ll at least heal? #justcurious

Talking About BPD
Talking About BPD@TalkingAboutBPD·
It's not attention seeking. It's not manipulation. It's not 'being dramatic'. It's seeking connection. It's communicating a need. It's distress. #BPD
