LONDON, ON (January 10, 2026) – The London Police Service wants to make the public aware of an un-identified male who has committed numerous daytime break and enters over the last 10 days. The suspect is a white male of average build. He usually wears a white and black ball cap, black face covering, black jacket, white shoes, and carries a black backpack with white stripes. @UnitedNumber_7 @MatthewIwama I’ve been away for a few weeks but did something change that I’m not aware of? LMIAs are worthless now for the purpose of the CRS. How can they “keep the points high”? 🤔

@MatthewIwama Have you heard of LMIA authorized employers creating fake EE profiles just to keep the points high so that applicants whose time is coming to an end look for an LMIA as a way to stay longer? Then, these bad actors sell the LMIA. Haven't seen evidence but it seems possible.

@MatthewIwama I don’t disagree and good on Job Bank to QUESTION … but arbitrarily refusing to extend a job posting or flat out refusing to post a job without due process is complete overreach. Some legitimate ERs are forced to post higher wages bc of the RTP mandate.

@MatthewIwama @ONgov It would definitely be interesting. I can see the rationale to cancel an application if fraud was discovered but to pull an application bc the govt oversubscribed?!? Can you imagine the stress and the devastation?! I can’t even. 🤯

This is very concerning. @ONgov surely, there’s a better way to manage intakes to ensure your dept doesn’t over allocate & then have to cancel apps already filed. How can any ER plan their operations w/o certainty that they can possibly keep their foreign workers after an ITA?!

This is so crazy unjust … and just makes no sense. What’s the point of an ITA then?!

@smeurrens I don't understand the section on sharing data between programs. They all use GCMS. Only Canadian passport data is hidden from Citizenship and Immigration.
