@sakigake_dev I completely agree! Fast iteration with nodes, but the generated GLSL should always be visible and editable. Best of both worlds 🔥

@boredlegend7 Live GLSL error reporting is the part I'd want most - that feedback loop is what makes shader work bearable. For the node editor: keep both. Nodes for exploring fast, hand-written GLSL for when you actually need to understand what's happening.

Been messing around with Three.js and GLSL lately, and it turned into a shader playground for prototyping ability-style effects. Right now it has force fields, cloaking, plasma, holograms, frost, toxic auras, and a handful of other procedural effects built on similar ideas. You can import a GLB, apply the shaders directly to the model, tweak everything live, or jump into the vertex and fragment shaders with live compilation and GLSL error reporting. I also threw together a preset system with custom icons and a randomize button, which has made experimenting way faster than I expected. It's still very much a work in progress, but I've been having a lot of fun building it. I'm tempted to take it a step further with a node-based shader editor. Would you use that, or do you still prefer writing GLSL by hand? Here's a quick look at it in action. #ThreeJS #WebGL #GLSL #GameDev #CreativeCoding

One thing I enjoy about game development is that the "fun" isn't always gameplay. Building responsive tools like this Player Card Builder is just as rewarding. Every change updates instantly, layers remain editable, and the same system can support future unlocks, seasonal cosmetics, and achievements. It's still early, but I'm happy with the direction.

Your driver should look as dangerous as your ride. Here's a quick look at Deathlane's Player Card Builder. Customize your portrait, badges, decals, backgrounds, and create a card that's uniquely yours. Still a work in progress, but it's coming together nicely. More features soon. 🏁 #GameDev #IndieGameDev #Solana #Web3Gaming

Been spending some time experimenting with different real-time cloud rendering techniques in Three.js ☁️ I wanted to compare a few different approaches side by side to see how they feel in motion and what tradeoffs they make between realism, performance, and overall atmosphere. In this clip you'll see: • Layered 2.5D weather sheets • Flow mapped clouds • Ray-marched volumetric clouds • Procedural cirrus wisps Since I'm building multiple games that target different platforms, I don't think there's a single "best" solution. Right now I'm leaning toward the flow mapped approach overall, but there's something about the procedural cirrus that I think could look really nice layered on top of another system or in a stylized manner. Still experimenting, but I'm curious what everyone else thinks. Which version looks the most convincing, or the most interesting, to you? Feel free to check out my portfolio in the Labs section to experiment more too! Going forward I'll be posting more content like this as well 🧙‍♂️ #ThreeJS #GameDev #WebGL #IndieDev

To any game developers seeing this post: all I want is a solid exploration game with a grappling hook mechanic (Last Oasis style) someone take the concept in this video and make it a reality. I am ready to throw my money at this!

@Frostt I'll shamelessly nominate my own 😆 DEATH from @DeathlaneGame. Instead of promising a game "soon," we already have a playable browser-based combat racer, and we're building it in public.

@Coinmaster100x I've been building @DeathlaneGame, a browser-based combat racing game on Solana, so naturally I'm biased toward DEATH 😆 If you're looking for something with an actual product behind it instead of just another meme, it's worth checking out.

Been heads down building for quite some time. Figured it's time to start sharing more of what I've been working on. I'm a full-stack developer focused on JavaScript, blockchain, and browser games. Alongside client work, I've been building my own projects from scratch. Going forward I'll be posting: ⚡ Development progress 🎮 Game development ⛓️ Solana & Web3 🛠️ Things I've learned building real products I'm also available for freelance projects if you're looking for an experienced developer.
