You are already the best at compacting AI context. Why not compact earlier conversations as well, so they do not fill up the memory?

Codex gets too laggy for me with long conversations, I think in the same way the ChatGPT website gets too laggy. This should be a P0 for OpenAI. I see no other frontier chatbot environment where always-rendering earlier messages hurts performance.
