i feel like the flash wins for characters with the most outdated first names. you could meet a bruce diana or even a clark and maybe a harold and definitely an oliver but not a bartholomew. what do you mean reverse flash is named eobard. i didnt even know that was a name

@bori___cha It was unintentionally retconned Post-Crisis, because Mark Waid forgot Barry's real name was actually Barrence and like any reasonable person assumed it was Bartholomew and wrote that into his scripts.

@JohnRuml this is all fine and dandy i think. the fact is though is that even in the 60s, eobard was already archaic. outdated since day 1, so my point stands i will say that it makes it even funnier that his successor is named Daniel

@bori___cha Eobard was a super archaic Old English name in 1963, John Broome probably named him that thinking it's sound fantasy/sci fi esque. Think Eomer and Eowyn from LOTR
