So @TSN_Sports switches from a tie game with 2 seconds left, tells us to go to TSN4 to see the conclusion because they have to show curling ( nothing against curling- I like it!) - we switch to TSN4 and they're IN COMMERCIAL AND MISS THE FINAL PLAY OF REGULATION? Do better, TSN.

Jason Benetti will fill-in for Brian Anderson on Thursday's Men's Tournament coverage, The Athletic has learned. Anderson, who was clearly under the weather working with Charles Barkley and Dick Vitale on Tuesday's First Four, hopes to be back on Saturday. Westwood One and NBC did TNT/CBS a solid. Benetti now may complete the career cycle of working for every network.

@jzulgad Because nobody would watch. You don't compete against the NFL, ever. The NBA used to own Christmas day....then the NFL decided they were taking over Christmas, too. If the NBA can't compete with the NFL there's no way the NHL could get respectable ratings.

I get why NHL teams in the U.S. don’t play on Thanksgiving but why don’t the Canadian teams play? It’s not a holiday in Canada.

I’m not Pierre McGuire’s agent yet but I’m just thinking out loud, how isn’t this guy on a national broadcast? Why did he get blackballed? Am I missing something here. He could step between the glass and easily be a top 2 option in the league. Panger and Pierre are the best in the business between the glass ringside. Somebody at TNT or ESPN reading this should pick their phone up yesterday and hire this guy. He’s truly a walking hockey encyclopedia. He’d be a better fit on TNT but ESPN could work just fine. @yyzsportsmedia That fact that they've gone all-in for their post season production is impressive. They could have easily taken the cheap route and piggybacked off the MLB world feed. Sending your own crew to cover each game is incredibly expensive.

Of course Doug Eddings was going to play a part in this game. Missed a check-swing strike 3 on Rodriguez and then Julio wound up going deep for 2-1 Seattle lead. Bad job by Fox truck and announcers not going back to it. Was pretty obvious swing.
