Last night was the @masslw “Leaders in Law” event, at which the 2026 “Lawyers of the Year” were honored.
It’s been a whirlwind month for me, with several speaking engagements and generous awards from bar associations and my peers. I take none of it for granted. But now it’s time to get back to work full-time for my clients.

I had lunch today with this gentleman and scholar, the legendary @bobalessi.
We made some progress discussing our upcoming podcast, which is not *too* far away at this point.
Photo #2 provides a hint at the title. It’s taken a long time, but hopefully it will be worth the wait! #comingsoon

@BostonDefender Like you "suspected" a juror was holding out to acquit Karen for OUI during your post trial interview with me? :)

It wasn’t that long ago that Diller apologized in open court for misrepresenting what Karen Read said in a filing. At least with Diller, that wasn’t the first thing he said on the record. I can’t promise the same for Tuxbury if the MTD forces him to answer for his misrepresentation of the @BostonDefender text exchange with @DoctorTurtleboy. I’m sure @ChrisMatteiCT will be thrilled that his co-counsel having to answer for misrepresentations may become the first litigated issue in the case.

@Do93095Mc @jennmass14 @BostonDefender It's easy for the DA to stand safely on a sidewalk and announce that in hindsight the officer was NOT reasonable when he used force. Like the justices said, these are "rapidly-evolving circumstances." The public, like you, gets it.

Great night tonight at the @EssexCountyBar Association annual dinner. Honored to share the dais with my good friend and colleague, @DamonE73270. Thanks to all for the lively question-and-answer session!

We have court on Thursday. We have heard from police officers from across the country who support Boston Police Officer Nick O’Malley and are as outraged as we are.
This fundraiser is for family living expenses, in anticipation of the consequences of indictment, which will occur unless the Suffolk County District Attorney’s office comes to its senses.

@theginnyjamz @JulieCar94 Perfect, thanks. In the meantime, here’s a small homework assignment for you and the other members of your little gossip group.

@BostonDefender @JulieCar94 Actually, I apologize. That’s coming on Thursday - I’ll send you the link as soon as it’s set up. 🫶

This is such an erudite response, expertly exposing the games these people are playing. The sanctimony, the self-righteousness, the holier-than-thou faux moral preening, the cut-and-paste gamesmanship, it’s all for clicks and attention. Their arguments dissolve like cotton candy as soon as you take a bite. I choose not to.
Very well played, my friend. The emperor has no clothes.
And I will you all at 3 PM today!

. @juliecar94 The people of the Commonwealth, especially across Norfolk County, can spot a three-ring circus from a mile away. Most of us would rather stand with those defending constitutional rights against political gamesmanship and selective outrage than buy tickets to another manufactured pearl-clutching performance. @DoctorTurtleboy has become a lightning rod because people are exhausted with corruption, contradictions, and narratives that keep changing every round like a bad Monday night wrasslin promo.
Quoting scripture while running cover for a public smear campaign is a bold strategy. Luke talked about truth coming to light, and ironically that’s exactly why so many citizens keep questioning the conduct surrounding this case. If the “truth” is solid, it shouldn’t need outrage theater, selective morality, or social media sermonizing delivered with the intensity of a late-night televangelist selling miracle spring water.
And spare everyone the sanctimony about dignity while simultaneously turning tragedy into a daily content machine. The public didn’t create this firestorm. The investigators, officials, media personalities, and endless leaks did. People are watching because confidence in the process got body-slammed(@BostonDefender Ty and the team for that!)through the announcer’s table a long time ago.
At this point the FKR crowd is the babyface section of the arena, and every new talking point feels more scripted than a steel cage promo. Trial one, trial two, civil rounds still loading… and yet the crowd keeps chanting the same thing because the case still hasn’t delivered the clean knockout some promised years ago.
Grab the novelty red noses, pack up the clown car, and maybe leave the fake moral superiority at the concession stand on the way out. The public can think for themselves. TB & KR still standing.

It is Saturday, May 16, 2026.
It has been 1,568 days since John O'Keefe was taken from his family and friends.
For 1,122 of those days, his loved ones have had to deal with his autopsy photos being splashed all over the internet because @BostonDefender failed to file those photos with the proper impoundment.
The defense, Karen Read, and the unscrupulous blogger they shared the photos with have repeatedly said "the body" tells the "story" and therefore John O'Keefe's dignity is inconsequential. In fact, when his procedural failure was pointed out to him in open court, instead of apologizing to the O'Keefe family, @BostonDefender arrogantly responded "The cat's out of the bag."
For the record, the "story" the defense came up with regarding the injuries to John's arm was crafted by none other than JANET READ after the injuries were explained to her over the phone.
JANET READ HAD NEVER SEEN THE PHOTOS WHEN SHE CAME UP WITH HER WILD TALE, therefore, clearly, NO ONE "needed" to see them.
Shame on Karen Read, her family, her attorneys, her pet blogger, and her disgusting fans who continue to share these photos.

@RenataPatientz @JulieCar94 @Dki0202ng Agreed. Not many people have heard much about the case . . . where was the press while it was going on for nearly four years? How did they miss this story?
Thank goodness that large powerful group of Ivy League women is now ready involved, that should get the word out.
English

@JulieCar94 @Dki0202ng @BostonDefender Most people know nothing about this case besides the headlines. I’ve been asking around. I asked a large powerful group of Ivy League women last night. The public is going to be ASTOUNDED when they hear what happened here.

@GrantSmithEllis @products840 A proud moment, congrats!

@FKR102445 Does she have the same inquiry for every prosecutor in every high profile case that tries the case in the media, starting with the perp walk?
