Any game in which we start Gyokeres is a game we are planning to lose. For about 10 games now, you can't remember one moment of quality from him. It is hard to win anything when your striker is just standing there.

@EragonSalvatore I don’t think he’s a bad player, he’s just not top 6 premier league level. He’s also a transition striker playing in a control based link up team. I will never understand his signing. But then there wasn’t a lot left and without someone we’d of been in bigger trouble this season.

He knew he messed up, i feel sorry for the guy. I can’t even blame him anymore, i blame the coach that signed a tier-C midfielder, and kept starting him every match. From the way he broke down, you can tell he doesn’t have an elite mentality like Gyökeres.
The guy just doesn’t belong at this level. It won’t be long before he becomes “homesick” and goes back to the Basque region.
