This also explains why they invest so much in diffusion models ("AI art")

I remember doing character design work for a company and the client handed me the most generic pinterest scifi wear refs and told me to replicate it. So i tried to do something inspired and they just mad af and the art director told me “i know how u feel, just do what they say”

@noxxlyte @NintendoAmerica They would have to design a theoretical Virtual Boy Color and then modify the game ROMs for that. The SEGA 3D Classics collections did something like this for the Mega Drive to enable stereo 3D, but the Virtual Boy has too few games for this to be worth the effort.
