PRESIDENT WILLIAM SAMOEI RUTO at STATE HOUSE in NAIROBI 🇰🇪, where we shared DINNER and engaged on matters of mutual interest. I also took the opportunity to CONGRATULATE His Excellency on the RECENT COMMISSIONING of key DEVELOPMENTAL PROJECTS, including RURAL ELECTRIFICATION PROGRAMMES and the Nyamira Water Supply & Last Mile Connectivity initiative, both of which speak directly to SERVICE DELIVERY and PUBLIC WELFARE. What is UNMISTAKABLE is that President Ruto is a leader whose CAPACITY is MEASURED through DELIVERY. He is a tried and TESTED man of ACTION under the KENYA KWANZA mantra, “Kazi iendelee.” On Wednesday morning, I then flew into DAR ES SALAAM 🇹🇿, where I had the pleasure again of paying a COURTESY call on H.E. SAMIA SULUHU HASSAN at STATE HOUSE. I commended Her Excellency on the continued progress in STRATEGIC INFRASTRUCTURE, particularly the SGR and expanding POWER TRANSMISSION NETWORKS which have now positioned Tanzania as a key ENERGY and TRADE CORRIDOR in East Africa. What continues to draw me back to both KENYA 🇰🇪 and TANZANIA 🇹🇿 is the clear SIMILARITY in their ECONOMIC TRAJECTORY and their RELENTLESS FOCUS on DEVELOPMENT. These are economies delivering REAL PROGRESS through deliberate policy and infrastructure expansion. It is on this basis that as a bona fide CITIZEN of KENYA and a PERMANENT RESIDENT of TANZANIA I made a firm undertaking that my companies will not only participate in Multi-billion dollar tenders but will also invest at least a small US$100 MILLION in each country this year, focusing on TOURISM & HOSPITALITY, INFRASTRUCTURE development and more critically, RENEWABLE ENERGY. I extend my most sincere APPRECIATION to both H.E. PRESIDENT RUTO and H.E. SAMIA SULUHU HASSAN for their continued MAGNANIMITY and willingness to grant me the opportunity to present the VAST business opportunites in both Countries.
