there should be a feature on messaging apps and social media that lets you opt out of receiving voice notes. like people should not even be able to begin to record one to you if you’re not in the mood. this is a good idea and i stand by it

I think I’ve realised why the passing of our 2nd family cat this year has sent me west. She was the last kitty (mum has about 45 cats) left from my childhood. Right before my 30th. Maybe she was my last tether to Dubai being home. Sad and don’t want to grow up 😢
