Kaydence Carpenter (20) was surrounded by a mob in Lexington, Kentucky this weekend.
Multiple police officers were standing right next to the mob as they shouted at her, climbed on her car, kicked the vehicle, etc... and did nothing to stop it.
She then used her vehicle to escape before eventually being arrested and charged with second-degree assault, DUI and reckless driving.
After the 2020 national race riots several states have de-criminalized (not the DUI part, that's going to bite her in the ass...) using your vehicle in self defense against a crowd/mob but Kentucky isn't one of them.
Drive accordingly....

This shit doesn’t happen in Florida. If people are surrounding your car and preventing your movement, you have the right to defend yourself. This behavior stops when rewarding the obstructionists stops.

I don’t think it will. Did one single person ever even lay a hand on her the whole time? Did one person have a weapon other than the girl with the car?
If this was a group of people protesting, I might agree with you on a lot more of it. But it’s just people walking down the sidewalk in front of her.
So put yourself in the person on the sidewalk shoes, and you see some lady looking like she’s getting ready to drive over the sidewalk are you just gonna let her or are you gonna like hold up your hands and start yelling and like stop stop no no too?

Of course you can be in the parking lot. She went there to start shit with somebody.
But you cannot run over pedestrians on a sidewalk, and it’s illegal to go the wrong way down a one-way street while drunk. Oh she had a fake ID, and was not old enough to drink. But we shall shed what the court says, but I am guessing she will take a plea deal for lesser charges. Because that is what guilty people do.
