Like their predecessors ‘No Corners to Hide’ and ‘The Changeling’ - featured in our previous @TweetTastings the ‘Lovers Transformed’ which also includes a 36yr bottling, was inspired by myths from the island of Islay… #BowmoreWhisky #LiquidHistory #Scotch #Whisky

@TheWhiskyWire This 23YO was matured in combo of refill ex bourbon barrels and refill oloroso sherry butts before being finished (approx. 3 years) in refill PX and oloroso butts. Tiny % of Pinot noir finish too

Dram 3 mouth more - lots of spices inc star anise, cinnamon, mild ginger. Salted chocolate, more meaty notes and a wonderful oily note means the finish is long and very pleasing. This is a special dram and I feel lucky to have experienced it - thanks #BowmoreWhisky
