Our collaboration with PorchLight Coffee in San Diego was awesome We celebrated the launch of our new Mocha Prime Protein - topped iced coffees with cold foam, and mixed it into lattes. Great to see so many people coming together around health and wellness

Does coffee give you stomach issues? Coffee has a ton of benefits but if sourced improperly it can do more harm than good Here are some things to be aware of: 1. Mycotoxins Mycotoxins are toxic chemicals produced by molds and are extremely common in coffee beans. Some of the side effects of these toxins are brain fog, digestive issues, fatigue and much more. If you have a bad reaction to coffee, it could actually be mycotoxins. 2. Acidity The acidity in coffee can be the reason why some people are sensitive to it Try a low acid coffee or cold brew, with a splash of milk or cream 3. Pesticides Coffee is one of the most pesticide sprayed crops in the world, and no monitoring of pesticide residue levels. It is important to purchase high quality coffee, certified organic if possible. 4. Coffee makers/K cups Many coffee makers are made with aluminum and plastic, both of which you should avoid. K cups are especially bad, heating plastic while brewing your coffee. Just because they say “BPA free”, doesn’t mean other plastic toxins can’t leach into your coffee. Things to try: -Only have coffee AFTER food -Low acid, organic coffee or cold brew -Splash of good quality milk or cream -Glass or stainless steel coffee makers, hemp or cotton filters -Make sure to hydrate well before & after with minerals

@AloeTallow Totally agree. Problem is the non refrigerated section much harder when introducing milks and things that spoil easily

@bowtiedbean I think that all the time. I'm always forced to either pay $6 for some awful tasting black coffee in a can or get the Monster Java which is what my heart really wants but Carrageenan and other ingredients that are awful for you

@bowtiedbean GM Bean - libraries were an important room in older homes. Now it is rare to find homes that have books in their book shelves.

Phosphatidylcholine: phospholipid that supports gut lining repair + reduces inflammation (helps leaky gut/UC). B1: vitamin B1 (thiamine) - boosts gut cell energy, motility, eases IBS symptoms + fatigue. MCP: modified citrus pectin - prebiotic fiber feeds good bacteria, binds toxins gently. PHGG: partially hydrolyzed guar gum - soluble prebiotic fiber boosts Bifido/butyrate, regulates bowels + microbiome. Antimicrobials: herbs (oregano, berberine) or meds to target bacterial overgrowth if dysbiosis/SIBO present.

I add it before I pour into my cup of choice, after the pour over is complete. That way the hot coffee mixes well with the raw cacao powder I then add either maple, honey, coconut sugar, or date sugar. Adding it into the coffee grind could be a game changer. I’ll try that tomorrow. Not sure why I haven’t thought of that Love the idea of mixing coffee and cacao (with L-Theanine as well)

@sleepy_wizard Of course best way to learn is doing. And it forces you to learn and iterate. can’t imagine where I’d be if I just started years ago when I wanted to.. but convinced myself everything was too saturated or that some guy on Twitter did it already

You are so early. Don’t get discouraged because you see something done already on X There are people at the market selling tallow creams and simple electrolytes that can’t keep up with demand Your average person is not the people you see here I guarantee 90% of your hometown friends/family still brush with Colgate and use dial soap Just start

@bowtiedbean Being 5% better than my competitors in the very saturated market was enough for me to do very well. Business is super hard, but also not impossible.
