If tomorrow was your last day, what would you spend it doing? Find a way to do more of that.

@ActionHugo @draymondsburnor @alexboge It did resemble a dune buggy design, hence the nickname "moon buggy." roughly size of a small car. Weighed about 500# on earth . Carry payload of about 1k#. Here next to the lunar module. Think those were about 20 feet tall. See humans for size reference

With almost no fanfare, Artemis II has already passed straight through what moon landing deniers love to call the “deadly, impenetrable” Van Allen radiation belts. Except… they aren’t. They’re regions of trapped charged particles - mapped, measured, and understood for decades. Even Dr. James Van Allen himself noted that with proper trajectory and shielding, passing through them is not a problem. Mission planners minimize exposure by carefully selecting the flight path and limiting time in the most intense regions. Spacecraft are shielded. Radiation dose is tracked and kept within safe limits. This isn’t a mystery to us, it’s just physics and engineering. We’ve done it before. We just did it again.

I do not understand how you could not be fascinated by space. This is a real image from NASA's James Webb Space telescope. I think it's one of the most beautiful images ever taken.

@Escargot4U @MaryTilesTexas I'm wondering why you'd make this claim. Your think ignorance of the current mission gives you some brilliant theory regarding space exploration? That's like saying "I'm so dumb, I'm smart!" Dunning-Kruger 💯

@MaryTilesTexas This is more of a rational vs. irrational debate. We could fly to the moon, land, screw around then come back several times 60 years ago. Now it’s an AMAZING accomplishment 60 years later to do a fly by. Yes we are going to the moon but we’ve never landed on it.

How do people not believe rockets go to space at all? You can see the ISS with your own eyeballs 😭

@boxofduststudio @draymondsburnor @alexboge I did, then I found out about the treaties they signed in the 50s, dealing with the rockets they sent up. Weird, but I love how rockets work. Just a shame that they can’t leave our atmosphere.

@draymondsburnor @alexboge So with your reasoning and question. How did they do it the first time? Back in the 60s, they must have had super technical advance equipment to get into space right? 👍

@boxofduststudio @LucasGageX Why would I care what other people think? God gave me a brain, I can use it. What other people believe has no effect on whether something is true or not

Flerfs cry “fisheye lens!” at every curved Artemis II photo but ignore the ones shot with normal lenses. Fisheye bends lines—it can’t turn a flat Earth into a spinning globe. Here’s ISS footage (Nikon DSLR, no fisheye) showing Earth rotating underneath. Stop being ignorant.

@Pb_sndwich @LucasGageX I understand why you think it would, but no. You're just missing a couple of factors in the equation. Science can be complicated.

@LucasGageX So the linear speed of the earth is 500 mph under Alaska when the plane takes off. It flies south to Miami, where the earth spins at 1000 mph. It does or doesn't have to aim west of Miami in order to account for this 500 mph difference?

I know it's been 40 years and some of you were still sperm in your father, but all y'all screeching NO KIDS WATCHED THE CHALLENGER EXPLOSION are not only stupid, you're pig ignorant. 1) A teacher was on board as an astronaut 2) Lot of teachers wheeled TVs into their classrooms so that kids could watch a teacher fly into space. 3) Those kids saw the Challenger explode One of the worst videos I saw was of Christa McAuliffe's (the teacher in question) classroom -with a sub teacher- watching the video as the Challenger exploded.

LOL! I gave up on this discussion with flat earthers a long time ago. You will never convince them. In most cases, flat earth and moon landing denial is woven up with their Christian faith. To challenge them on the flat earth is to challenge their whole belief system. For most, this is a line they can never cross.
