Manchester United will finish outside the Premier League top 10 and outside the top 24 in the UCL league phase:
Michael Carrick finished third because Manchester United were only playing one game every eight days. Next season, with three games in seven days, the real challenge begins.
I do not even see United reaching 15 league wins, and they could miss the UCL playoff spots completely. Fans already think the club is back, just like they did under Ole Gunnar Solskjær.
They had the chance to appoint an experienced coach but instead decided to gamble on an inexperienced manager. Next season could be banter after banter for Manchester United.
