5 year ago, Alexei Popyrin whose only 2 years older than Sinner, beat him in straight sets in Madrid. Now he can only get 6 points against him in a set. Sinners game seems to have radically elevated from around the time we know he failed drug tests?

@pavyg Well Sinner hadn’t fully matured yet which is why he took early loses to average guys (much like the greats did coming up.)

Popyrin beat Sinner in straight sets in their first meeting but since then Sinner has beaten him twice. Have you noticed that many players used to beat Sinner regularly then suddenly Sinner started to beat all of them. Did they all just not progress and all their form dipped?
