Disturbing information from a nurse in Spain: Restraints are regularly used for euthanasia patients once their organs have already been reserved for donation. They claim to offer an opportunity to back out, but apparently you are restrained at the waist or limbs, and they send in a team to talk to you until you agree to move forward. If you are having cold feet, you are made to feel like a terrible person. We don’t know if that was the case with Noelia Castillo Ramos, but it is certainly possible considering she was alone in her final moments and nobody besides her mom was allowed to see her or know what was going on in that room.
