This engagement reflects PROCMURA’s holistic approach to addressing GBV by linking awareness, empowerment, and humanitarian support. By standing with displaced women and girls, we reaffirm our commitment to protection, resilience, and hope for communities rebuilding their lives.

Empowerment must go beyond conversation. To respond to the immediate realities in the camp, PROCMURA also distributed food banks to participants, helping ease acute food shortages while upholding dignity and wellbeing for families under strain.

Life in refugee camps is often marked by uncertainty, limited resources, and prolonged vulnerability. For many women and girls, this reality is made even harsher by persistently high cases of gender based violence, where daily survival and personal safety are constant concerns.
