Today we've launched a new requirement that all applicants must demonstrate how their research will address existing inequalities in health and social care as a condition of funding. Congratulations to my PhD. student, now Dr. Kwansa, who successfully defended his thesis with very minor corrections. Dr Kwansa's thesis investigated the home environment influences on childhood obesity in Ghana and was examined by Drs H. Osei-Kwasi and T. Apekey. Well done Alb!
