Still lots of things to do in terms of marketing for notionextensions.com The SEO is pretty bad, specially for the Google Calendar integration, which is the main source of revenue. I'll be looking into that next 🕵 #buildinpublic

I'll share more details soon. But looks like the Google Calendar - notion integration is still the main feature that makes users subscribe to the Pro plan of notionextensions.com And @Reddit is still the main source of new users.

After a pretty bad month in terms of new paying users, I decided to focus as much as possible on marketing this month. And I think... it's working!? 😺 Despite of increasing pricing last week, I already got more sales this month than in whole February! #buildinpublic

@samuandreo @stripe @PaddleHQ It depends on the case. One was because of not having enough money, another due to the new RBI regulations (support.stripe.com/questions/rbi-…), and the last one because of unknown reasons. I try to encourage people to pay the yearly subscription, but many prefer to pay monthly :)

@braisthinks @stripe @PaddleHQ what was the actual problem? no balance in the card they used for the subscription? Yearly subscription is a way to mitigate that I guess...

Lately, I've experienced how annoying failed payments are 😣 I have to contact each customer manually, wait for their response (*if* they actually respond) and act accordingly. I'm using @stripe, but I wonder if other alternatives like @PaddleHQ provide a nicer solution for this.

In relation to this... I'm increasing NotionExtensions pricing again 🙃 I think it's fair for the things it offers at the moment. All in all, I'm preparing an email to let current users subscribe with the old price within the next 2 days. #buildinpublic

After two weeks of fixing bugs raised by early users, I decided to move NotionExtensions' sidebar to public beta! And then some new users started to experience issues when signing in 😬 It seems like no matter what you do, there will always be bugs 🐛😂 #buildinpublic

@thevarunraja @googlechrome Thank you! Yes, it takes quite a while 🥲 I've been thinking on porting the extension to manifest v3 because apparently that speeds up the reviewing process. But I'm not 100% sure if it's worth it or not.
