Dropping Ramandeep Singh might be a tough call, but right now balance is more important.

KKR (Korbo Lorbo Jeetbo) KKR lost their 1st game while defending 220 and the 2nd game while chasing 227. In the 1st game, they lacked aggressive finishing at the death, while in the 2nd match they lacked partnerships and balance in the middle and lower order. The transition from Russell’s era hasn’t happened yet. Ramandeep is still developing—KKR probably should have convinced Russell to play one more season. Rinku can’t be relied on as a finisher every time just because of his 5 sixes in 2023. Allen and Green are yet to peak. Narine is doing well, but he can also be useful at the top in batting. KKR are missing Rana/Shreyas in the middle and Russell at the death. Their bowling looks average and needs strong guidance. Varun is not in good touch. How Dinesh Karthik took KKR to the semi-final in 2018 and how Morgan led them to the 2021 final despite setbacks shows the legacy of this franchise.
