@BPredict We could cover a mere 25% of the uninhabitable desert out west with solar panels and power *all* of North America. We’re just waiting on the next generation of battery to get developed (Li-ion not scalable). Nuclear is there for on-demand power. Geo/hydro always churning. Doable!

This strikes a nerve with me right now, because so many ppl have kept saying it’s a blip and Purdue just keeps trucking on. If there’s a slight dip next year after being ranked #1 three years in a row, fine. But Purdue isn’t leaving the nationally competitive convo anytime soon.

Gender learning & participation gaps (girls w/ STEM & business, boys w/ reading & language arts) close in gendered classrooms where it isn’t assumed (esp. by the teachers!!) that the boys & girls are better/worse at some stuff.

Was waiting til the end of the game to tweet this - but Purdue currently has a 33-5 free throw advantage as we head to overtime - and that's after Purdue fouled a 3-point shooter in the final minute.
