@megapeenchief You have to win games of consequence to climb the ranking. The conmebol should be the easiest place to climb ranking if you’re good because it’s a competitive schedule

@brandonnffc a very broken scoring system. The third best South American team at the moment (Ecuador) is 23rd, behind Colombia and Uruguay, two countries that they beat and drew to (2W, 2D, 8 points of possible 12) as well as being behind Mexico, USA, and South Korea. It doesn't make sense.

@brandonnffc Argentina got beat by Saudi and then won the wc. Lower rank teams probably still not going to win the WC but some of these highly ranked teams will lose games last wc proved it.

@brandonnffc world rankings are so clearly broken if Italy, the country that has failed to make it to the world cup 3 times in a row, and got eliminated in the group stage in the previous 2 before that, are "14th" in the world

@isoadam_74 @_Zeets There will be a round of games in the groups that mean nothing because they will involve teams already qualified with 1 win vs teams on 0 points and no chance of beating the bench players of a mid ranking nation. Also slow tired football because of the weather. Poor format

@isoadam_74 @_Zeets Italy didn’t qualify because they didn’t deserve to. Doesn’t change anything about what I said. There’s too many teams, adding more bad teams to say you’ve got more concacaf ofc or afc teams doesn’t make it the World Cup better. Sure they have their moment but what’s the point?

When Foden was in the hottest form of his life in 23/24 season his teammates refused to pass the ball to him in the euros. Go look for yourself. Jude and Rice being the main culprits. I’ll always pray for the downfall of this England team.

i haven't seen a single grass 11-a-side pitch in Milan since moving to Italy a year and a half ago. there are 88 grass pitches at Hackney Marshes alone. things like this are why Italy do not qualify for the World Cup.
