The issue with that second yellow isn’t the simulation rule. The issue is that because the referee made a bad call giving a yellow, the Swiss player gets more harshly punished, whereas if the referee had just given a simple foul, Embolo would still be on the field.

Football is not a science it is practical. Vocal football fanatics think just because we don’t talk about it actively, we don’t watch neither understand it Simulation is a rule in football punishable by a card. But in many instances it bottles down to the ref personal decision whether the player was dramatic or it’s an actual impact/strain from the contact. On the Instance of Argentina, I think it was right to book Breel Embolo but everyone has a differed opinion, even the commentators differed with the ref. Only that officiators decision is final.
