@LeighaJarett Bringing Flutter closer to native feels ... how do you think these native fidelity enhancements will impact user experience?

Another #Flutter 3.16 feature I'm excited about is more options in the text selection menu :) We've been focusing a lot on native fidelity, especially on #iOS. So now when you select text, you'll see new options like "Lookup" etc. to match what you see on native!

You’re spending too much time on social media. You could be spending half the time and getting double the results. The average person spends 2.5 hours a day on social media. Forget about followers, likes, and comments for a moment. Look at roughly how many leads, sales, and revenue it brings you. If you don’t know, you should set up better tracking. And consider doing brand recall studies. When using social media think about what tasks you need to accomplish to generate more revenue. And do them. Think about the stuff you do on social media that drives little to no results. Don't waste too much time on those. And think about what content you need to create that resonates with your ideal customer. And then create it. And no, motivational quotes aren’t one of them. You don’t see me posting them even though I know my like and comment count would go up because someone who reads a motivational quote won’t think in their head… “wow that was a great quote, I should pay him $1 million dollars to help us with our marketing”. Focus your content on your ideal customer. That’ll bring you more revenue even if you get fewer likes.

I've come to understand consistency being at the core of growth. I've been writing a blog post, sending a newsletter, and recording a podcast every week for a year now. I didn't have an audience, then I had a few people, then a few hundred, and now it's a few thousand.

@SEGVeenstra Respect your point on option B, Stephan. Yet, I lean towards option A for its efficiency and simpler maintenance, especially vital in large projects. Specific cases, though appealing, often introduce complexity. It's about striking the right balance.

@bratan_me I also don't see it as extra coding since you going to have that functionality anyway, that code is going to be somewhere. Either in a separate class, or in one bigger class sprinkled with if...else's..

Which kind of dev are you? Do you (A) create a generic confirmation dialog, or (B) create a specific confirmation dialog class each? #flutter #flutterdev

The best is it costs me $0 with Cloudflare pages (unlimited bandwidth) Until now I was doing everything in vanilla JS/HTML/CSS but it became a spaghetti monster Next steps: Adding some finishing touches, then working on SEO!
