This might be as worrisome a 3-0 series lead you’ll see in NHL history. From the Makar goal on the compete was much better but MacKinnon has 1 assist and 7 shots in 3 games?? The rest of the top 6 besides Lehky not much better. Makar was a beast.Things need to get better and fast

@brauchlerj It’s very good and something Bednar would always have in his back pocket when we’re down goals. I just think it would help the 2nd line tremendously with Necas and Olofsson. Landy on the 3rd line could be what’s best for him and the team. At least for the time being.

I really wish Bednar would switch Necas and Nichushkin and switch Olofsson and Landy.

@Avsfanjake Sure I agree, the way they feed off each other h other is so unique though.

@brauchlerj Mackinnon is a volume shooter. He creates his own goals and chances. Necas would be way more beneficial to Nelson than Mack.

@Avsfanjake In theory that’s great but if you lose more than you gain in separating them it’s not worth it. Not saying it’s not worth a look. But in the limited time Nelson and necas were together it didn’t go well.

@brauchlerj Nichushkin has always opened up more space for MacKinnon to drive play in the O-zone. Nelson needs a playmaker more than MacKinnon. Let Necas drive the 2nd line.
