@PeterSchiff so, if you dont pick the peak in the S&P/gold ratio as you did and you use the February 1980 low (give or take i cant tell the exact date), the S&P was worth less than .2 ounces since then and now 2ish. Does this change your view that S&P is now up 10x to Gold since that point.

The S&P is not at a record high if priced in real money. In terms of gold, the S&P is worth less than 2.1 ounces. At the start of this century, the S&P was worth 4.85 ounces. So in real terms, the S&P is down 57% over the past 24 years. The nominal gain is all due to inflation.
