The stats are stats. The eye test is what you watched week in week out. Ronaldo excited crowds and all the kids wanted to copy what he was doing in 2007. That just isn't the case with Salah. Same with Haaland. He produces world class numbers but you'd much rather watch Luis Suarez.
You clearly would base your XI on stats. That's fine. I wouldn't and as such I'd pick Ronaldo over Salah.
