@ThePecklord yeah the portal is not working in update 5 : /
it works in the prerelease versions though, so hopefully it stays happy with update 6. in the meantime, the instance menu is the reliable way to visit skyreach

@breadleyishere Yo bradley, having an issue with Skyreach. So I keep trying to use it in survival, but each time I load up the portal and go through it, it immediately boots me back out

i am blown away new dungeon, runeforging and player magic, npc companions and living world elements, volumetric clouds and so much more... if these are the elements planned for the first two chapters, i cannot imagine what's in store in the future wow i love this game

@vivideerie hytale modding discord and the worldgen discord are great places to go! asking questions there has taught me the most. hytale modding has some official and community-made documentation as well, and there's a couple nice youtube tutorials

@ThePecklord the fun thing about this sketch is that most of these blocks didn't originally glow! the water, and some blocks in the landscape, were edited to emit light. all things are possible through the asset editor 🙏

@breadleyishere Hytale adding so many glowing blocks is one of my favorite things about the world gen. Im looking forward to when the game progression gets more balanced because biomes like this will be so much more interesting to explore and loot in
