I’m aware how important the gut microbiome is for metabolism and obesity risk but I didn’t appreciate #Statins could alter gut microbiota and dysregulate bile acid metabolism and glucose homeostasis. Await with interest further studies in this area Nice study in @Cell_Metabolism

@erikahughes111 Yes it’s a good read . I’m a nerd and like to read the medical journals / evidence base and there’s a growing body of evidence against many ingredients in UPF but also how perfectly normal carbs are ultra-refined and turned into glucose loads. Need to shop/ cook like it’s 1920 👌
