Uncle Dave being a workrate guy ruined a generation's ability to appreciate psychology.

I'm a psychology guy and more a story guy, I just don't pretend certain styles have no psychology and that there is only one right way. Nor is 80s right and 2020s wrong. 50s is right in the 50s. Evaluating Lou Thesz without understanding the audience and expectations and drama of Lou Thesz is silly. Dory Jr was an incredible world champion and worker. People watching on tape sometimes don't see it because he worked his own unique way that was fantastic for a world champion in that era.

Seth is overrated by some, ridiculously underrated by others. It's like Michaels in another generation. One of the best but because it's WWF people had to act like he was the greatest of all-time, and the reciprocol was people later claiming he was terrible, which is bizarre levels of cope. Sting once said Seth was the best wrestler he was ever in the ring with. He did say that long before AEW, but that still would include Flair & Funk.
