Woke up to so much hate on the TL The same people begging for collabs and WLs now trashing everyone bc it wasn’t as flippable as they imagined. The hate is ironically making the situation worse reflexively by souring sentiment. Look, Cerebro is a real company with real users, revenue, pmf, growth plans, top tier angels / advisors. It was always pitched as a long term bet on the company. The mint was guaranteed, with no OA. Nobody was forced into minting. And I do believe holders (especially those who use the product) will be happy in the end. I’m always about jup man My networth and my life work and legacy and my beloved team n community is 99.99% on JUP And my jup is totally illiquid till 2030, so I’m as locked in as any founder can be. Insane to think that I am not about that. I made a very very bad mistake over the last year trying to reassure community and trying to make everyone happy all the time, and doing all kinds of locks and burns to try to reassure community we are “good” and “responsive” and giving the community a strong say in all kinds of matters involving jup. The brutal truth is that no one gave a flying fuck about all the things we did - EXPONENTIALLY more attention was given to 200K JUP budgets that has not even been given out yet compared to the fact that the team voluntarily LOCKED their entire cliff and cut allocation by 30%. The reality is that while a lot of people want me to constantly scream about JUP n implement all kinds of mechanisms, the only thing that matters now is: 1- communicating the very high level jup story, and y we are here for 2- solidifying the 3 core pillars: defi superapp, our new studio baby, and getting jupnet to a solid start 3- synergizing the team to achieve a very high level of ownership, external comms and growth of coz, anchored by best product, best users and best platform vision I need a few months to get these solid, then an earnest discussion about dao and community can begin. @mikethegambler_ - love you man, thanks for always showing candor, tough love and respect - cannot promise anything but I’m in the same fucking boat 🫡
